The scientific portal
The digital information system offers a variety of possibilities to substantiate the core data and to use it for various purposes. To substantiate the core data, on the one hand, will be realized via a so-called scientific portal, the exploitation, on the other hand, via a so-called public portal.
With the science portal it becomes possible not only to substantiate the core data with a list of literature and unpublished reports, but the entire research field can also be made visible and accessible. That means in addition to an extensive acknowledgement for each instrument, also a summary of the locations and availability of these sources: archives and libraries. A separate search engine should allow the source material to be filtered based on various criteria.
